The property sits in over 300 acres of tropical forest full of native fruit trees and beautiful flowering shrubs. Such is its quality it has been named as a World Heritage Site, and the beach borders a protected underwater park.

This elegant and very exclusive resort has only 115 rooms, and the 18^th century sugar mill on whose site it sits has actually been integrated into the resort. The beautiful white sand beach stretches for over a quarter of a mile, and the whole effect is quite stunning, with the dramatic Pitons, the turquoise sea, the white sand, and the tropical greenery of the surrounding forest.

Jalousie Plantation has four restaurants, featuring both buffet and a la carte dining. A Spa to pamper your body, with everything you could desire in the way of treatments, from massages, facials, body wraps, scrubs, nail and hair care, add to this a fitness centre, saunas, steam rooms, you have just about got the lot, whether it is to prepare you for the wedding or to unwind on your honeymoon in St Lucia.
